Education Support Professionals (ESPs) are the bedrock of our state's colleges and neighborhood public schools. They play a critical role in keeping our schools running and our students safe. As the state's largest education union, OEA represents many of the support staff working throughout Oregon.

OEA has a legally protected right to negotiate on behalf of support staff, so we can all get higher wages, better benefits, and improvements to our daily lives. When more people join the union, the more powerful of a voice we have with administrators. ESPs for years, but we still have more work to do – together. With more members like you, we’ll have an even stronger voice and be able to secure real pay increases, fight efforts to privatize our jobs, and win increases our retirement and health care benefits.

OEA represents ESPs belonging to nine career families in public education who share similar core job skills, responsibilities, education, and training.
