Schools Students Deserve

Student success is about their future. And ours.
Each and every Oregon student deserves a quality public education, and OEA is dedicated to ensuring students have access to neighborhood public schools that allow them to achieve their potential and follow their dreams.
Educators, leaders, parents, caregivers, neighbors, and concerned citizens–we all contribute to giving each and every student an equal opportunity to get a great public education. Here are some of the ways we're working to improve public education for our students.

Student Success Act

In 2019, OEA members across the state worked together to secure the Student Success Act (SSA) - a historic investment in Oregon's students and public schools.

Class Sizes & Caseloads

Growing class sizes and caseloads are making it harder than ever for educators to meet the individual needs of their students.
OEA Vice President Enrique Farrera
More members means a stronger union. And as a stronger OEA, we can more effectively bargain for good wages and benefits, so we can focus on our students. That's why I'm proud to be a member of OEA.
Quote by: Enrique Farrera, OEA Vice President

Ready, Set, Grow!
